I wanted to get this last bog in tonight. This video shows my Droid running Quake3. Nothing special right? … RIGHT? Well this time I’m playing it with a wiimote and a nunchuck.
- First you need to download kwaak3. Big thanks to thunderbird2k for making this nice little app.
- Second you need a PC copy of Quake3. You can download the demo from ID Software. I used my Q3 cd.
- Third, download Wiimote from the android market.
Ill revisit this post again tomorrow with better instructions on how to set this up for those that are interested. I’m sleepy.

nothing for my incredible?
This is probably doable on your incredible.
Can you please figure out a way to make it work on the htc evo. i heard that wiimote is not compatible with the sense ui.
Vince. That is correct. I was not able to get the wiimote app to work on a stock EVO or Droid Incredible. The sense ui has a death grip on what bluetooth devices can be paired to it. I’ve only seen the wiimote apps work on the EVO and Inc if they rooted and loaded a custom ROM that didnt have the sense ui. Roms like cyanogenmod.
Hey! All works fine…except the nunchuk, to look around me..what control configuration do you use to do that?
Thanks!
I map the nunchuck configuration within quake3. So far I haven’t seen anything that takes advantage of the analog feature of the device so its just regular key presses really.
