This method explains how to install the droid froyo leak on to a rooted droid with clockwork recovery installed.  If your phone is not rooted and you don’t have clockwork recovery installed, then don’t use this guide.  You will mess up your phone.  Again, SPRecovery users don’t use this guide.

Before I get started.  I just want to explain that I will not be held responsible if you break your phone.  By following this guide, you understand that if you fuck your shit up, it’s your own damn fault.  No cries about your warranty is voided, your dog’s got diarrhea … bla bla bla … If your phone is rooted then your warranty is already voided.

Now that’s out of the way, let’s get to the good stuff.  Remember, this was written under the assumption that you have already rooted and are using clockwork recovery.  Make sure you backup your current rom before proceeding.

1. Download the leaked rom that P3 threw up on his site.  I’ll post a mirror because mydroidworld.com is getting hammered right now … naturally ;)

2. Download the 1GHz kernel P3 made.  Again, I’ll post another mirror.  This also fixes the WiFi issue they explained.  They had to rapidly recompile a kernel that didn’t have a matching tiwlan driver for WiFi.

3. Download the flash 10.1 beta apk.  It used to be listed in the market but it looks like adobe has pulled it off … I wonder why.  Thank god nothing ever gets deleted if it ever hits the internet right ;)

4. Once you’ve downloaded the P3DF-DW.zip file … Open it and extract the 2010-06-05.06.15.32 folder to your desktop.

5. Connect your droid to your desktop and mount the sdcard.

6. Browse your sdcard to clockworkmod/backup … copy the 2010-06-05.06.15.32 folder with all its contents to the backup folder.  Folder structure should look like /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/2010-06-05.06.15.32

7. Copy the AdobeFlashPlayer10.1_10.1.61.68.apk and 1.0-v32kernel.zip to the root of your sdcard.

8. Reboot your phone and go into clockwork recovery.  Got into the partitions menu and format the system, data and cache partitions.  For good measure, back up one menu level and wipe data/factory reset.

9. Go into nandroid and select restore.  Choose the 2010-06-05.06.15.32 image and the restore process should take a few minutes.

10. Once completed, reboot your droid.  It should take a little bit to come up.  Once it’s up, log into your google account and let it sync your contacts and data.

11.  Reboot your phone and go back into clockwork recovery.  Select install zip from sdcard.  Select choose zip from sdcard.  Use the volume down keys and locate the 1.0-v32kernel.zip and select it.  Reboot like normal once its completed.

12  Once android comes up completely, open your settings and select applications.  Put a check into Unknown sources.  Download and install an app like astro from the android market and install the AdobeFlashPlayer10.1_10.1.61.68.apk.

13: Enjoy!

Side note: The market acted kinda funny on me and got stuck with RootExplorer … Had to clear the market cache to get past it
